Media Group Chair welcomes Digital Markets Unit
Responding to today’s official launch of the Digital Markets Unit, which will sit within the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), Andy Carter MP, Chair of the Media Group, said:
“I welcome the steps the CMA has taken to stamp out monopolies in the online market. Particularly in light of covid, we need to make it easier for small businesses to break into consumer markets online, levelling the playing field and giving entrepreneurs a better chance of success.
